R Place Murals
When the legendary ‘R Place’ night club moved out of its Capitol Hill location in Seattle, it left behind a few boarded-up walls of the once lively multi-story building. A few organizations stewarded the building before a more permanent development. I took the opportunity to paint a couple pieces on the side.

This piece lasted quite a while but eventually started getting covered up. Each time a tag appeared, the building owner started to carefully paint around the mural, even tho it was non-commissioned work. They did this on my next piece as well, which led to a short-lived, but kind of funny conspiracy theory that I was either the building owner, or secretly a land developer. Naw.
